The Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home

Provided by Kamloops Hospice Association

Provides comfort care and improves the quality of life for persons who are dying from advanced illness or are bereaved.
Admissions to Kamloops Hospice is through a referral by a healthcare team to Central Intake Interior Health. The hospice will admit individuals for end-of-life care, symptom management, and respite. Often the individual’s primary Physician will continue care while in Hospice; however, a Palliative Care Physician is available on call.

Hospice beds are short term and are intended for a stay of less than ninety days. Some individuals will return home after their stay and are supported by Home Health or are transferred to a Long-Term Care facility. To refer to Interior Health Central Intake, please speak to a home health nurse or physician or call 1-800-707-8550.
